Meet Dr. Gail D. Miller
Usually Ob/Gyn is the specialty with the happy ending. You help the mother have a healthy baby girl or boy and everyone is happy. As a woman, I have a lot in common with my patients. I can identify with the problems women face from the teenage years to the golden years: dating, raising children, menopause and aging. Yet I’m always there with a helping hand.
I enjoy my job when I have done my best, when I’m able to put my needs on the back burner to help others. I can be at peace and have true joy when I put my problems in God’s hands. I don’t take credit for the wisdom He gives me. I am thankful and grateful.
We are family here, and I wear many hats. I can be granny, girlfriend, sister, mamma, whatever the patient needs but I always care for them like family. Always remembering that we are here to serve, not to be served.

Fellowship Training: Infertility, Mt. Sinai Hospital, Chicago, IL, 1982.
Internship: Cook County Hospital, Chicago, IL, 1977.
Residency: Mt. Sinai Hospital, Chicago, IL, 1978–1980.
MD: University of Health Sciences, Chicago Medical School, 1972–1976.
Academic: Associate Professor, MacNeal Memorial Hospital, 1980–1995; Advocate Christ Hospital and Medical Center, 1988–present; Palos Community Hospital, North Western, 1995–present.
Member: American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American Medical Association, Illinois State Medical Society, Chicago Medical Society.
In her spare time, Dr. Miller enjoys traveling, shopping and caring for her birds and fish.

Our mission is to help all women from Palos and the surrounding communities, and give 110% to their healthcare. In Obstetrics, we help patients with preeclampsia, miscarriage, pregnancy issues and deliveries. In Gynecology, we help women with ovarian cyst and polycystic ovarian syndrome, dysfunctional uterine bleeding, uterine fibroids, abnormal Pap smears, STD, vaginitis and menopause issues.
